Graduation Season is around the corner

The best time of year to see shoulders full of lei's! In Hawaii people have so many lei's stacked on their shoulders they can't even see. Now thats what I am expecting this June. Just kidding :D

All graduates blend in when they wear their cap and gown, but if they wear a star lei they are sure to catch attention. Everyone raves about how interesting and cool the star lei's are.

One customer said:

"This was a very special lei, I really liked it and got many compliments about it, thanks for your great work!"

So send us school colors and we can make it happen

Extra Random

Waiting for winter to pass with some hot cocoa. I always imagine myself on a beach in hawaii eating shave ice in the hot sun. So warm with hot sand between your toes and moist air frizzing my hair.

I went to goodwill recently and I can't help but laugh whenever I see these coconut guys. It reminds me of the swap meet in Hawaii.

Oh Ava... my beautiful Ava. She is such a goof.

What to get her for valentines

Every february my dad always asks me what he should get my mom. My answer is always "I dunno." For many people it is hard to pick out a special gift even for christmas or a birthday. There are so many choices its hard to decide what the person really likes.

To be safe all a man has to do for valentines day is pick out her favorite flowers and maybe throw in a box of chocolates. I think instead of the chocolates, pick out a piece of jewelry that can be personalized.

So heres the plan...

In the morning give her flowers and a cute heartfelt card. Throughout the day tell her how much she means to you and what makes her so special. Take her out to dinner and present her with your gift, which could be a necklace or a day at the spa. As long as you put your own personal flare she will love it.

I think pottery would be a cool and different valentines gift. It is creative and there are so many different uses for them. I like the heart shaped dishes which could be used for a jewelry dish or candy. I love the lace bowl. It is elegant and so stylish.

Journals are a great way to express your feelings and to give one as a gift it shows that you care. I think a journal would make a great gift! Maybe you can write letters to each other. One year on the news I heard about a couple who wrote letters to each other everyday. They listed one thing they loved about the other and anything that bothered them. It kept them together and made their relationship longer. I think its so sweet!!

I think the best gift would be an experience. Take her out for a hike. Take her out to a museum. Play tourist for a day and see places you have never been to.

Starting New And Improved

Hey there! Hope everyone has had a jump start to the New Year! I know Im trying out new things... as long as effort is made right?! :D Watching the new has been sorta depressing with all the storms happening, riots, and shootings. Boy it's only been 14 days into the new year and all we are seeing are horrible things which is kind of discouraging.

Well, the new year calls for an Etsy Shop Makeover. I am soo excited to list new items because I have changed my photos. I think they look better than what I have been doing.... a little more consistent. A few more changes such as a new banner and business cards are seen in the near future. I am currently working on a new design for my business cards which is harder then originally imagined. I have an idea to use small business sized cards in envelopes with all our info on it. I want to be a little more creative with our business cards because it will make people look. I was shopping at paper zone one rainy day and I saw these small vellum envelopes. I had to pick them up because they were too cool! I read it and it said they "will fit business cards" and a lightbulb popped up in my head! That's what I'm going to do. Because we also sell cards, we will make our business cards like a real card except small enough to fit in a wallet. Now all I have to do is design it...the hard part.

Here are some unlisted items... Just showing a few new photos...any ideas on improving them? Someone might say to make them brighter or use a white background but I tried and the colors don't seem to pop as much.
